private birthday dinner

we celebrated my brother's birthday yesterday at The 39th Restaurant at PNB Darby Park. difahamkan situ food disediakan oleh Chef Ismail. Based on review ramai yang cakap sedap. we did make a reservation sebab ramai, dalam 16 orang. a day before, dapat call nak kena bayar deposit & order dulu supaya food tak sampai lambat. so oklah, semua disettlekan oleh adik iparku. kitorg sampai dalam 8.30 malam, and actually we waited for about 40 minutes for food to be served. ok fine... yang dah diorder siang tu macam mana? might as well tak payah order awal kalau still food lambat kan? even masa sampai, waiter tu boleh tanya, "oh dah order ke?" ok....

serius food lambat sangat sampai. budak-budak dah asyik tanya mana nasi ni? my niece yang 2 tahun tu pun pandai, "dah order pun lambat ke?" kejap-kejap tanya, "mana ni, adik lapar." kesian ok! for me, kalau dah fine dining, even mahal macam mana pun & even the review is good, tapi kalau servis teruk, orang still takkan datang dah. dahlah siapa pun tak attended kitorg, waiter & waitress memang takde langsung dekat area table kitorg & tak inform yang food lambat bla bla bla. takde courtesy langsung. bila food dah sampai pula, waitress tak kenal food apa yang dia served. kelakar.. service not up to the standard, semua overated.

fragrant rice & sotong goreng kunyit. sepinggan  macam ni RM50

this is mine. fragrant rice yang sejemput & kerapu cili hijau. RM60. nasi dia sikit betul, my cousin cakap dia guna shot glass yang besar sikit kot sukat nasi. hahahaha. even my niece Zarra pun cakap tak cukup & mintak tambah nasi!

Sago gula melaka RM25 & teh tarik RM9
